Todd Goodale // Creative Director

about.
about.
"About" sections can be quite interesting. They can take on so many different tones. Should I focus on serious achievements and statistics, or should I tell a little story to create a connection with my work? I think I'll go with the storytelling approach while avoiding a "Tinder-like" vibe, leaving the serious details for my resume and LinkedIn profile. After all, that's what those platforms are for.
I’m a creative professional living in Brooklyn. I’m an Army vet and an art director by trade—a creator, a conceptual thinker, a problem solver, a mentor, a family man, and a champion of great design. I have spent several years concepting, designing, creating, managing, mentoring, and continually learning. Some might even say I’m a seasoned professional.
My experience spans small and large ad agencies, as well as a notable stint at NBC. I thrive on solving tough problems, both on and off the clock, and sometimes I find it hard to switch off my brain once I get going. I strive to design in clean, smart, and unique ways.
I’m also an avid photographer and incorporate that passion into my work whenever possible. A tech enthusiast before it became trendy, I’ve always had a keen interest in all things technological. Lately, I’m obsessed with my Peloton—going strong for three years now. I consider podcasts to be genius; they are among the best developments of recent years.
Music is a constant presence in my life, as is my dog, who happily runs around me. I'm passionate about motorcycles and own two that I enjoy repairing and customizing. The creative urge in me is always wanting to express itself! I love tinkering and fixing things, and I can easily lose myself in great (or even not-so-great) movies.
I strive to make each day a good day; otherwise, it feels like a waste. I'm not interested in doing what everyone else is doing unless it's something truly great. I’m competitive by nature and find myself doodling constantly. I could go on, but I’ll stick to this brief overview for now. If you’re interested in learning more, feel free to reach out—I love to chat!
